I’m Ravi Pandey. I build software for businesses — and still run one of my own.

My background combines software engineering with entrepreneurship, which means I understand both the technical implementation and the business objective behind it. Having founded and grown an EdTech company — one I still run — gives me a perspective most engineers don’t have: I’ve been the person accountable for whether the product actually solved a real-world problem, and for the numbers that followed.

Since 2018 I’ve run Egxam, formerly Chemophilic Academy — an online education platform I founded for MSc entrance exams, CSIR NET, and GATE. It has grown to 10,000+ downloads, 10,000+ registrations, and a 4.4/5 user rating. I manage a team of 10+ teachers across curriculum design and course delivery, direct the mobile and web feature roadmap, design the online tests and assessments, and use feedback and analytics to push engagement and retention. Being accountable for the product, the team, and the numbers at the same time is an education you don’t get from tickets.

From 2023 to 2025 I was a senior software engineer at QuickTouch Technologies, working on QuickCampus — a cloud-based School ERP used by 3,500+ schools and 100k+ daily users. I built core modules including dashboards, user management, payroll, admissions, and reporting; led frontend development of the HRMS portal; and led a Next.js school e-commerce platform that lets schools sell uniforms, books, and other resources online. At that scale, a careless query or a loose validation rule is not a theoretical problem.

Since 2025 I’ve been a Full Stack Lead — first at India Accelerator and, since 2026, at ProsperTech, both in Gurugram. Leading is where the founder years and the engineering years finally meet: setting architecture, reviewing code, mentoring developers, and working directly with product and business stakeholders rather than waiting for a spec. The systems I’ve built in that time include a WealthTech platform handling investor portfolios, NAV processing, and financial reporting, and a multi-tenant coworking SaaS. Different domains, same underlying job — decide where tenancy lives, where validation belongs, and what the data model has to guarantee before anyone writes a screen for it, then keep that manageable as the product grows.

Most recently I’ve been working in AI engineering: RAG pipelines over vector databases, LangGraph agent flows, and FastAPI services. Galileo AI generates adaptive curricula with fact-grounded content, and Interview Pro pairs video interviews and a collaborative code editor with LLM-based assessment. I’ve completed AI Engineering at MisogiAI by Masai and am finishing an MCA at Andhra University, after a BSc from the University of Delhi.

Day to day I work in React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend, Node.js, Nest.js, or FastAPI behind it, with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis underneath. I care about clean boundaries, code that still reads well six months later, and reviews that make the team better rather than just gate the merge.
